Mrudhula Bhaskar (born 6 December 1992), also known under the stage name of Naveena, is an Indian actress. She is best known for her role in the 2014 film Vallinam, directed by Arivazhagan, and Ice Cream 2, directed by Ramgopal Verma.
She also performed in lead roles in the Tamil movies Marumunai and Thilagar. She made her debut in Kannada film industry with a period thriller Bablusha, directed by Venkat Bhardwaj. Mrudhula is also the Founder & Artistic Director of the Nrithyamoksh school of dance where she is training several budding artists in the field Bharathanatyam.
Mrudhula Basker is a young actress who has acted in tamil, telugu and kannada films. She made her acting debut with the film ‘Marumunai’. Her other popular films include ‘Vallinam’, ‘Ice Cream 2’, ‘Thilagar’ and ‘Babulsha’. She has been a dedicated and meticulous student of VazhuvoorBaani (Style) of Bharatanatyam and has performed in both National and International stages.
Mrudhula started her career in acting through the film ‘Marumunai’ released in 2014. As a trained dancer, she learnt acting from the renowned classical Indian dance form. Mrudhula later went on acting in films like ‘Vallinam’, ‘Ice Cream 2’ and ‘Thilagar’.
She gave life to Charumathi in the film ‘Marumunai’.Mrudhula was paired opposite Nakul in the Tamil sports drama ‘Vallinam’ which is set against a college backdrop. She made her Kannada debut with ‘Bablusha’ — a period venture set 500 years ago in the Sri Krishnadevaraya era. Her dancing skills as a Bharatanatyam dancer helped her while performing in the film ‘Bablusha’.
